Project Overview

This major wastewater reclamation facility expansion doubled treatment capacity from 3 MGD to 6 MGD through the construction of new headworks, an oxidation ditch, clarifiers, pump stations, sludge handling systems, and administrative facilities, while upgrading the existing treatment and disinfection systems. The project was completed within an active treatment plant, requiring detailed Methods of Procedure (MOPO) planning and close coordination with plant staff to maintain continuous operations throughout construction. The team leveraged in-house 3D modeling and clash detection to minimize conflicts and reduce construction delays, collaborated closely with the design team to optimize infrastructure layout and implement effective rerouting solutions, and successfully managed complex phased construction while integrating new and existing systems. Baker self-performed key scopes, including demolition, concrete, piping, equipment installation, and startup, ensuring quality, schedule control, and seamless project delivery.
